HOW DESIGN LIVE 2017 Announces CreativeLive as Official Partner in Education

Largest Annual Conference For Creative Professionals Finds New Ways to Inspire Audiences Through Online Education

HOW Design Live, one of the largest conferences in the world for creative professionals and sponsored by the award-winning design magazine HOW, announced today a newly formed education partnership with online education platform CreativeLive. On May 2-6 in Chicago, HOW Design Live will host the brightest in design, business, and technology including Malcolm Gladwell, Lisa Congdon, and Timothy Goodman. By partnering with CreativeLive, who offers premium Art & Design classes with some of the most recognizable names in the industry, attendees will be able to continue their education once the conference is finished.

”When you look at the speakers that are involved with HOW Design Live and the instructors at CreativeLive, it’s clear that this is a fit given the overlap,” says Lara McCormick, Head of Design Education at CreativeLive.

“This is a natural partnership as both organizations are well regarded in the market and focus on providing high-quality education for creative professionals,” said Gary Lynch, Vice President/Group Director for HOW Events. “Many HOW Design Live speakers, past and present, are instructors for Creative Live and the instructional video format blends well with a live event. We’re very excited to see what we can create together.”

Based on the theme “Ignite Your Passion. Create Your Future” the four-day conference will help attendees fuel their creativity, develop key design skills, explore new products and technologies, in addition to creating important connections. Based on the key themes at the conference and demographic, CreativeLive has created a customized program for attendees offering classes that range from hard skills courses like graphic design fundamentals to soft skills, such as how to launch your freelance business or how to design a proposal.
